🎮 Introduction

Doom: The Dark Ages offers a completion-focused trophy list. You’ll need to:

• Finish all chapters
• Collect every Demonic Essence, Codex Lore page, and Collectible demon toy
• Complete all Mission Challenges
• Fully upgrade all Weapons, Shield Runes, Melee, and Demonic Essence categories
• Finish all Weapon Mastery Challenges

✅ You do NOT need to find Secrets or Weapon Skins for any trophies.
✅ The game gives you extra Gold and Rubies, so missing a few is fine.

You can make it even easier by adjusting modifiers in the menu:

• Player damage taken → 50%
• Damage dealt to enemies → 1000%
• Auto-sprint and game speed boosts are also available

🪓 Step 1: 100% Completion in One Playthrough (~20h)

Your goal is to fully complete every chapter from the start. Follow a Collectible Guide to grab:

• Demonic Essence upgrades
• Gold, Rubies, Wraithstones
• All Collectible Toys and Lore Pages
• Complete all Mission Challenges

📌 You can pin Mission Challenges in the pause menu for tracking.

Collectibles are marked on your map when nearby and tracked per chapter. Nothing is missable — thanks to Chapter Select.

🔧 Important Upgrade Costs:

• Berserker Trophy requires:
  • 5925 Gold
  • 33 Rubies
    Save these until you can unlock all upgrades at once (see bug warning below).

⚠️ Glitch Warnings & Fixes

🛠️ Berserker Trophy – Bugged

• Can glitch if you buy upgrades across multiple shrines.
• Workaround: Save all your Gold & Rubies, and buy every upgrade at once at a single shrine — ideally the final shrine in Chapter 22.
• At the first shrine (Chapter 2), exit the tutorial without buying to avoid early bugs.
• Backup Save: Use PS+ cloud saves before spending any resources.
• If bugged: Deleting your save is the only fix unless you made a backup.

🛠️ Essentially Unstoppable – Bugged

• Can glitch if you restart checkpoints after collecting a Demonic Essence and before reaching the next checkpoint.
• This causes the Essence to permanently count as 0/1, even on replays.
• Fix: Don’t restart checkpoints after pickups. Make a cloud save at the start of every chapter and verify counters at the end.

⚔️ Step 2: Weapon Mastery Challenge Cleanup (~2h)

After fully upgrading all weapons (for Gunpletionist), their Mastery Challenges unlock.

These are short combat tasks and can be easily farmed in Chapter 20’s first combat encounter:

• The encounter features a shielded miniboss that infinitely spawns fodder demons
• Use this to complete Masteries quickly

You can instantly change damage settings mid-fight:

• Damage dealt to demons → 1000%
• Damage taken → 50%
  No need to reload checkpoints — it applies instantly.
