Looking for all the collectibles in Village of Khalim, the first chapter of Doom: The Dark Ages? This guide walks you through every collectible in chronological order—including all Secrets, Codex Entries, Collectible Toys, and Skins. Everything here counts toward 100% chapter completion and can be revisited later via Chapter Select.

🔐 Secret #1 – Life Sigil
📍 Location: After Power Gauntlet tutorial
After smashing through the first barrier using the Gauntlet, proceed through the opened doorway. Immediately look left, smash the wooden door, and check left again to find a Life Sigil.
🔐 Secret #2 + 🧸 Collectible Toy #1 (Imp)
📍 Location: After obtaining the Blue Key (story item)
Once you leave the church via the green-marked wall (using a shield bash), turn left and backtrack along the path you previously used to reach the church. On the right side, use the Blue Key to unlock a door and find both a Secret and the Imp Toy.
🔐 Secret #3 + 🎯 Weapon Skin #1 – Shotgun (Nightmare)
📍 Location: Area with 4 Demonic Portals
When you’re tasked with closing 4 demonic gates, follow the left path to a Drop Pod containing the Shredder weapon (mandatory pickup). After grabbing it, turn around and spot a platform below on the left side.
Jump down to find a collectible—be ready to fight off demons after triggering a barrier. Defeat them by shooting nearby barrels, then claim your Nightmare Shotgun Skin.
🔐 Secret #4 + 🧸 Collectible Toy #2 (Soldier)
📍 Location: Just past the Shredder Drop Pod
From the same area, go past the Drop Pod, and you’ll find another ledge on the left you can drop down to. This area holds another Secret and the Soldier Toy.
🔐 Secret #5 – Life Sigil (Requires Purple Key)
📍 Location: After closing the 3rd Demonic Gate
Before heading to the 4th gate (via the jump pad on the left), turn right instead to discover the Purple Key.
Once collected, return to the start of the chapter, near the 1st demonic gate. Use the Purple Key to unlock the gate and grab the Life Sigil inside.
📘 Codex Entry #1 – Doom Slayer
📍 Location: Near the 3rd Demonic Gate
After you close the gate near Secret #5, look behind the now-closed portal. Go up and around the rocks to find the Codex Entry on a high ledge.
🔐 Secret #6 + 📘 Codex Entry #2 – Village of Khalim
📍 Location: After destroying all 4 Demonic Gates
Continue into the next combat arena. After defeating enemies, look for a climbable wall on the right side just past a fiery wreckage. Climb up to find Secret #6 and the Village of Khalim Codex Entry.
